Get Treated

Research has shown that most people find the most success in combining a number of modes of treatment. Medications for ADHD are amongst the most effective when treating conditions that affect the brain. Medications can also make you more likely to be successful when you try to implement lifestyle changes as you’ll find you are more focused, less impulsive, and more motivated to keep the new habits consistent.

Our physicians can make recommendations for lifestyle changes, education strategies and therapy options that may be helpful for you.

After the assessment, our physician will discuss your diagnosis with you. Level Up ADHD offers a holistic approach to treatment that includes Occupational Therapy, Virtual Support, Group Programs, and more.

If you are diagnosed with ADHD and we feel medication would be beneficial for you, we will engage in a decision-making process with you about what would be the best medication to treat your ADHD symptoms. We will review benefits, risks, safety, and common side effects, as well as how long you can expect to wait for medication to be effective.

Our physician will also make some recommendations for lifestyle changes that may be beneficial for your start in your life, and other education or therapy that she thinks will be helpful for you.

“Dr. Chard strikes the perfect balance between being kind and empathetic and thorough and precise. She excels at supporting patients to work towards their wellness goals in manageable ways.”

Where to Start Learning

There is a lot of information out there, and it can be difficult to wade through it all yourself. ADHD is a spectrum, with different symptoms, different degrees of severity, and different types of issues depending on the circumstances. Finding the right medication and lifestyle interventions that will help you be successful can involve some trial and error. We are also always updating our resource area with new books, videos, articles, and podcasts we think are excellent.

Where to Get Help

Our physician can follow you for up to 3 months if you decide to initiate medication to ensure you have a medication that is working well for you with minimal or no side effects.

We also offer a self-pay 12-week virtual program with live support that helps you understand your unique brain, join our supportive community, reduce overwhelm, and build practical strategies for managing everyday challenges.

You can learn more about assessment and our program under Treatment & Services.

Level Up ADHD provides assessments, community support, and a 12-week adult ADHD program with live support.
